jewellery - one key piece or a selection of smaller pieces clustered together - big beads and bangles are hip.

Colours - pastel tones and light fabrics for headscarves and pashminas.

Nano-minis - so daring but SO in, if you have the legs flaunt them, but don’t forget, flash the thighs, cover the chest and vice versa.

Spring jackets - cropped, leather, sporty, blazer – all sorts of styles and shades but oh so cool!

Hair bands - thick and bright or thin and feminine, with beads or jewels, or simple stretchy fabric – they are not going away!

The maxi-dress - think Paris Hilton when she is feeling chic and feminine…long cotton dresses with bright swirls.

Short print dresses - Edie Sedwick inspired in monochrome looks hot!

Gold and silver accessories - such as handbags; super-shiny, burnished or glittering – bling it up like Beyonce but don’t go down the rapper route!

Neo-punk - buckles, spikes and perspex. Don’t forget a sweep of black eyeliner - this is not grunge chic but rock chic…you should still aim to look polished rather than grubby.

Plat-heels - platforms as high as 6 inches on the catwalk- go as high as you dare, your legs will be neverending!

Patent - go for bag or shoes, never both – patent is still totally in, this time it is more of a day than evening look!
