Perfect match ...The Break-Up

Romantic comedy The Break-Up received plenty of love from US cinemagoers at the weekend, taking a better-than-expected $38.1m (£20.2m) in top spot.
Starring real-life lovers Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, it pulled off the impressive feat of knocking X Men: The Last Stand into second place.

Brett Ratner's third installment of the mutant superhero saga only debuted last week with a record four-day opening of $122.9m over Memorial Day weekend. Its takings of $34.35m this week represented a drop of 67% in seven days.
