Jolie's emotional distress
has resulted in a noticeable weight loss. The 5-foot-8 star now weighs
109 pounds, says a source close to the couple. "She isn't eating."
Jolie, 31, is also "very lonely and desperate to make new friends," the
source tells Us.
For now, she has been importing a support system by flying in old
childhood friends from LA.
"Brad has been worried about her day and night. She has been under so
much stress, and Brad is trying to be understanding."
No photographs were being released, she added.

Actress Angelina Jolie began crying during an
interview aired on TV Wednesday morning when talk turned to the death of
her mother earlier this year.
Jolie's mom Marcheline Bertrand passed away in January after a long
battle with cancer.
In the interview screened on "Today," the star said, "I'm in a strange,
I suppose, place in my life. I think that happens when you lose a
parent, where you drop into a different kind of serious. And yet, at the
same time, you want to laugh and enjoy as much as possible every day.
"I'm hanging on to my family really tight at this moment, and, because
of that, trying to be as good a woman as I can be in my life."
Tears then rolled down Jolie's face and she said, "Dammit, you got me
crying."
Interviewer Ann Curry apologized and Jolie continued, "It's alright.
It's a part of life. ... I lost my mom. It's a natural thing for a child
to lose a parent. I lost my mom too young, but it happened. And I'm
happy she's out of pain, because I love her and she's my friend."

Angelina Jolie's brother James Haven has claimed that her constant
sorrow over the death of her mother is proving to be dangerous for her
health.
The Tomb Raider actress recently got emotional in a TV interview last
week, as she spoke about her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who
passed away in January this year after a long battle with cancer.
And James is bothered that his sister is letting the demise and grief
take over her life.
"She exhausts herself and at the moment she has a very low resistance
level because she misses our mother so much and just longs for her all
the time," James was quoted by Closer magazine, as saying.
He also revealed that Jolie's regular visits to under developed
countries as a United Nations ambassador has considerably affected her
eating habits.
"Angie visited Ethiopia and it changed her life. It's hard for her to go
home to a very expensive restaurant and order freely," he said.
